The reconstruction, which started on 6 November 2017, will end on 22 May 2023, so that after five and a half years, the more than half a million passengers who use metro line M3 every day will be able to travel on a completely renewed, modern and barrier-free line.

All stations of the M3 metro will have a modern, distinctive and characteristic look and feel, and thanks to the barrier-free improvements, it will be an accessible travel alternative for all. The less visible but perhaps most important results of the reconstruction are the installation of passenger safety systems, the new and modern track structure, and the complete electrical and mechanical refurbishment.

Only twenty days to go and we can forget the weekend closures with the replacement buses. We ask for a little more patience from everyone, but the light at the end of the tunnel is already visible.
