Smoke drills on the southern section of metro line M3 began on 10th of August and have now been successfully completed at all stations. The purpose of these procedures is to test the suitability of the new heat and smoke extraction system.
These tests showed the occurrence of a potential fire and experts on site checked how fast and efficient the heat and smoke extraction system is in the area, thus guaranteeing safe access to the exits for the traveling public.
What does the process look like from which those on the surface can only see the smoke coming out? We made a PICTURE and VIDEO gallery of the doubtlessly interesting and spectacular event.
